Dear Grassy Park Families, Friends, and Organisations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are part of a living legacy \u2014 a Grassy Park family, organisation, club, group, institution, or individual with either a yesteryear or recent memory or connection to the Gilray Site along Victoria Road, Grassy Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a grouping of Grassy Park neighbours, families, community groups, activists and organisations doing our utmost to respect, restore, and re-imagine the Gilray Site. Together we are exploring and recording the deepest memories and collaboratively building the highest vision that our Grassy Park community holds for this vital community space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your connection to Gilray is meaningful and valuable. It may have taken many forms \u2014 a personal, organisational, or group activity that touched this land in some way. Perhaps your family once picnicked under the tall trees, your youth group camped or hiked there, your school held a fun day, your club hosted a sports or fundraising event, or your street community gathered for a braai and laughter. Maybe it was a fleeting childhood moment, a story shared by an elder or a grouping of family stories. Every memory \u2014 whether big and bright or small and flickering \u2014 helps us restore the living memory of Gilray and the Grassy Park Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
